Earlier this week Microsoft has announced that they bought the company behind Minecraft, Mojang. As of today there’s no Minecraft version that supports Windows or Windows Phone apps. There’s only a desktop version.

But, now that’s going to change, Phil Spencer said on Twitter that the massive game will be brought to Windows 8.1 as well as Windows Phone 8.1. You can see the tweet below.

Minecraft is already available on Xbox, but Microsoft also mentioned earlier that they will keep Minecraft cross-platform.
